The Gill Guild

The Gill Guild (Cynthia, Jon, Matt and Jay Winston Gill) grew up adventuring, exploring – and reading. They are leaders, creators, teachers and storytellers. Cynthia Gill and Pam Withers (sisters) co-authored Jump-Starting Boys: Help Your Reluctant Learner Find Success in School and Life . In Cynthia’s case it grew out of her experience as a long-time educator and raising Jon, Matt and Jay. On top of being an author, mother and grandmother, she helps people live better stories every day as a therapist and lecturer. Her latest book is Why is the Driveway on Fire? Parenting Teens and Tweens.

Jon develops confidence, adventure and curiosity in his university students and his children. Matt tells stories to donors, partners and worldwide audiences (including his own children) to inspire action for non-profits and strengthen relationships. Jay has written A Superior Island and acted and created art both on screen and off-Broadway.
Cynthia, Matt and Jon live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jay, lives in Brooklyn, New York. All believe in the transformative power of great stories.
